Glendronach's 12 Year Old Original whisky is a richly sherried single malt, matured for at least 12 years in Spanish Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso Sherry Casks. The process produces a rich and creamy palate in a non-chill filtered whisky.
The bottles come from Glendronach's long working Scottish Highlands based distillery, founded by James Allardice in 1826, and producing fine whiskies for nearly two centuries. The age-old process at Glendronach uses the finest equipment, from elegant copper pot stills and mash tuns, to world renowned sherry casks to enrich the produce.
Nose: sweet, creamy vanilla, with hints of ginger. Spiced mulled wine and pear.
Palate: rich, creamy, silky-smooth. Warm, rich oak and sherry sweetness, full mouth feel, raisins and soft fruits. Spicy with medium length and a dry finish.
