Light golden in colour Campbeltown Loch has aromas of confectionary, reminiscent of an old fashioned sweet shop.
These aromas develop on the palate into a pleasant malty sweetness. Hints of sea salt and peat can also be detected with both Springbank and Longrow making an appearance in the blend. Good, honest blended whisky at its best.
Nose: candyfloss, butter popcorn and ice cream soda. Very mild and relazed nose, some banana skin aromas.
Palate: equally soft and relaxed palate, sweet vanilla and buttery oak.
Finish: quite oily and finishes with a white pepper edge.
