A 1991 vintage Ardbeg from independent bottler Douglas Laing as part of their Director's Cut series, reserved for their best casks. Distilled in March, it was aged for 23 years before just 114 bottles were yielded in April 2014.
Nose - Vanilla & sweetness with liquorice.
Palate - Sweet with a warming smoked quality.
Finish - Long & lingering with beach bonfire ashes and cigar smoke.
